CraftCircle Terms of Service
1. Welcome to CraftCircle
We’re so glad you’re here! CraftCircle (“we,” “our,” “us”) is built for creators, consultants, and retailers to share, sell, and grow their craft.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain how you can use our platform — from Minisites and Shops to Events, Appointments, and Payments.
By using CraftCircle, you’re agreeing to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, so please take a moment to read them.
2. Who Can Join
To use CraftCircle, you need to:
- Be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legal agreement.
- Provide true and accurate information when you sign up.
- Keep your account details up-to-date and secure.
3. Your Account & Security
Your login details are your responsibility — please keep them safe.
If you think someone has accessed your account without permission, let us know right away.
You’re responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Who’s Who on CraftCircle
Creators/Merchants
- Set up Minisites, run Shops, host Events, manage Appointments, and receive Payments.
Visitors/Attendees/Clients
- Discover, book, buy, and attend what our creators offer.
Everyone is expected to follow the law and these Terms.
5. Playing Fair on CraftCircle
We want CraftCircle to be safe and inspiring. That means no:
- Illegal or unsafe goods/services
- Fraud or misleading practices
- Adult content or harmful material
- Get-rich-quick schemes
- Cryptocurrency or forex trading
- Gambling or pyramid schemes
- Infringing on someone else’s intellectual property
- Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
Breaking these rules can result in account suspension or closure.
6. Features & Plans
We offer a range of tools for your business. Each feature (Minisite, Shop, Events, Appointments, Payments) has its own details on fees, limits, and optional add-ons.

7. Fees & Payouts
We believe in transparent, pay-as-you-earn pricing.
- Usage-based fees or flat-rate options for high-volume sellers.
- Withdrawals cost KES 50 per request.
- Platform fees are non-refundable.
Payouts
- Events: Processed after the event takes place. Need funds earlier? Contact our support team.
- Shop orders: Paid once the product is delivered or marked fulfilled. Trusted sellers may get rolling payouts within 2–3 business days. New sellers or high-risk orders may have longer holds for safety.
8. Refunds, Cancellations & Postponements
CraftCircle operates a “final sale” policy — once a transaction is completed, sales are considered final.
We connect buyers and sellers, but do not directly process or reverse payments. Platform fees are non-refundable.
Shops
- Refunds depend on the seller’s own policy and available balance.
Events
- Cancelled events — Organizers handle refunds directly (minus platform fees).
- Postponed events — Tickets remain valid; refund requests must be made within 7 working days.
CraftCircle isn’t responsible for refunds or losses resulting from merchant actions, third-party failures, or events beyond our control.
9. Our Role
CraftCircle is a platform — not:
- The seller or buyer in a transaction
- A guarantor of quality or safety
- An insurer or financial service provider
We’re here to connect people and make running your business easier, but responsibility for products, services, and transactions rests with you.
10. Dispute Resolution
If there’s an issue:
- Contact the seller/organizer first.
- If that doesn’t work, our team can step in to help mediate.
Kenyan law applies, and disputes will be handled in Nairobi courts.
11. Ending Your Account
We may close your account if you break the rules, commit fraud, or receive serious complaints.
If this happens:
- Any unpaid fees are still due.
- Access ends immediately.
- We keep data as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Intellectual Property
Your content stays yours — you just give us permission to display it on CraftCircle.
Our platform design, trademarks, and brand materials belong to us.
13. Privacy
We follow Kenya’s Data Protection Act and take your privacy seriously. You control your personal information. Merchants must also handle customer data responsibly.
14. Things Outside Our Control
If something happens beyond our control (e.g., natural disaster, system outage), we’re not liable for delays or interruptions.
15. Merchant Responsibilities
If you’re selling or hosting through CraftCircle, you agree to protect us from claims related to your products, services, disputes, or compliance issues.
16. The Legal Bits
These Terms plus our Privacy Policy make up our full agreement with you.
Governed by Kenyan law.
If part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.

18. Final Word
By using CraftCircle, you confirm you:
- Have read and understood these Terms
- Agree to be bound by them
- Know that platform fees are non-refundable
- Understand that CraftCircle is a technology platform, not a seller or guarantor
- Will try to resolve issues directly with the merchant first
